My Opinion About Joo Won

I was extremely impressed since Joo Won’s take Park Shi On’s Character. All I can say is, His acting range is tremendous. I often meet children with autism since I was in college, Psychology major. He has nailed it ..in many ways, his movements, eye contact, the way he tilts his head, his speech,, not that perfect, but I think he far surpasses Dustin Hoffman (Rainman) that received awards because playing autistic character.

The effort he puts into his acting is what makes him stand out for me. I love how he immersed himself in roles every time he held first script reading. He transformed into the character even though they have not started filming yet.. !! Just look at his facial expression and his eyes when he was reading the script or looking another casts.

Unfortunately, Joo Won only has a few awards considering his acting skill as compared to actors with minimal acting range (and don’t tell me it is because they are more handsome so they are more popular -_- and received more awards). Let’s face it, many popular actors only take “Just stand there and be pretty” roles, right?. (No offense). It will be really nice if they stop giving Lee Min Ho that role (The Heirs and BBF), he is very talented with his speaking eyes in CH…

To surpass their popularity, Joo Won's next show need to be a romantic comedy drama with an actress that showing lots promises [That’s all Tomorrow Cantabile was]. He need to be more arrogant and cynical but, lovable too.  And now, looks like he can pull off Chiaki’s character perfectly. What can I say? Wow…. I think, this project (If they handle it nicely) will make JW more popular than Lee Min Ho, Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Hyun Joong, Lee Seung Gi, and many others actor that born in the same generation (86,87,88).

*Or maybe he would rather to be an actor than a star with certain image.

After I saw the Cha Yoo Jin’s stills, I don’t even remember how he was so nice in Good Doctor..  and how he so mean and brat in Baker King, evil and hero in Bridal Mask, and how he was so sweet in Ojakgyo Brothers. He had many things since his debut 4 years ago, I believe a great future waiting for him even after military drafting

There is my curiousity in Nae-il's still, trying not to making judgement

1. Why the room and she's too clean? Nodame basically life in heap of trash...
2. She's not even dressed like Nodame at all and she looks so lovely with her smile. It doesn't pull off Quirky vibes but feels sweet and calm.
3. Is she holding sheet music? Nodame plays piano through hearing and she really hates practicing by the sheet, right?

Joo Won's Schedule for September 15-20 2014

It seems Joo Won will be very busy this week

Ueno Juri: “I Can’t Wait to See the Korean Version of ‘Nodame Cantabile’”

Japanese actress Ueno Juri, who rose to stardom through her role as Nodame in the original version of “Nodame Cantabile,” has shared her thoughts on the upcoming Korean remake of the Japanese hit drama.
During her recent visit to Korea, the actress sat down with Yonhap News to discuss her expectations for the anticipated drama starring Shim Eun Kyung. As Ueno Juri herself became one of Japan’s most loved actresses in 2006, when “Nodame Cantabile” enjoyed explosive popularity, the piece holds a special place in her heart.
In regards to the Korean version, she said, “I don’t think I can set any expectations for it. I just can’t wait to see it.”
“I was glad to hear that a Korean remake is in the works. Seems like the Korean fans were truly touched by the drama. I anticipate it a lot. ‘Nodame’ was my first lead role. When we started filming, I had no idea a special version or a movie would be produced later on,” the actress explained.
While the domestic audience has been excited over the news of a Korean version, the big question has been: who will take on the role of Nodame? With Ueno Juri setting the bar high with her flawless performance, fans have kept a keen eye on the casting process, but to everyone’s pleasant surprise, the character will be played by the talented Shim Eun Kyung.
Ueno Juri revealed she truly enjoyed watching Shim Eun Kyung in “Miss Granny,” and added, “I heard Shim Eun Kyung is currently the same age as I was while filming ‘Nodame,’ and this is her first lead role in a drama. She is in a similar situation as I was, and I hope she enjoys success through the drama. I heard Korean actors have strong mind control when it comes to challenges. I believe the cast is perfectly fit for the drama.”
“Tomorrow Cantabile,” the Korean remake of “Nodame Cantabile,” will premiere in mid-October on KBS2.
